My paintings manifest all that I am. In my work you will find what I see, fragments of my thought, reflections of my energy, emotions, actions, and feelings; reduced to expressions in still lives, natural life and abstractions of nature. My interpretation of life.

 

I don't limit myself to any particular medium.  I enjoy working with acrylic, charcoal, oils and photography.  Mixing all of these mediums up and sometimes adding a layer of plexi for one more thing to paint on.  My favorite medium is actually roofing tar.  I like to use this as a stain or thick like paint. 

 

My photographs are currently evolving into a staged setting of a modern studio with some historical references as well as symbols of my personal life.  Traditional still lives come to life with the addition of nudes or body parts.
